PROMPT — Joy is ...
A number of colorful gliders
were coming down from hills
we were sitting on a bench
enjoying ice cream beside
a green lawn in front of a
single storied market complex
dust free bright clean afternoon
no crowd, a pleasant feeling.
It was picturesque Interlaken
a town in the Switzerland.
Our coach was passing through
a lush green mountain slope,
in meadows packed rolls of grass
were there lying for lifting
we reached the railway station
in a venture to go to Jungfraujoch,
the top of Europe through a tunnel,
a marvel of engineering skill
covered by snow, in between windows
were there to see outside wonderful views.
Inside the tunnel beside the train track
different animal sculptures were there
made out of snow to greet the tourists,
at our destination outside the tunnel
it was truly unforgettable experience
plethora of shiny sunny snow
pollution free air we breathed
to our heart content
helicopters were on vigil
so that nobody is lost anywhere.
