PROMPT — Who am I today?

I find I can waste a lot of time by worrying about the things I have to do, the boxes I have to tick, the plans that don’t stick.

But then it turns out to be fine and I find that I can get by floating like a cloud in the sky.

You get so caught up, you can sometimes get stuck in your own head.

I used to dread holidays because I felt I had to be busy.

Spread thin, you can sometimes feel dizzy and waste time on things that don’t matter, much rather than the things that do and as such, you feel you are living someone else’s life rather than your own which is silly.

Being bumped off my Easy Jet flight, I put up quite a fight which got me nowhere except being cross and a bit time lost.

Being stuck in traffic could make me huffy, too until I changed my mindset, put on my audio book and the time flew.

I used to waste time pining to be somewhere I was not until I learned to be happy wherever I was, as this one life is all I’ve got.

I wasted time sometimes feeling flat, until I felt a spirit presence telling me that

I was very lucky to be alive and should appreciate every second as a chance to thrive.

So now I try and find that I can enjoy whatever life throws.

You are responsible for your own choices, so, silence those doubting voices

and enjoy your time in a way that works for you and amaze yourself with all you get through.
