By Richard LeDue
PROMPT—During Covid-19 ...
My window is dirty:
tiny smudges that tried to get in
are gone to bug heaven,
where the insect god is the size of my palm.
I vow to myself to clean it all
(when the sky is blue again),
but know it's just another lie
I tell myself to keep sane.
