Irreparable

By John Maurer

PROMPT — Who am I today?

Drop a chandelier

Of stained glass

Into my branches

So irreparable

Still kind of enchanting

A good memory

That is hard to remember

I do not listen to drums

Can't you tell it's hollow?

Just sit in your circle

We can all eat the tongues of ducks

Talk about our bills like ducks

We need not be so goosed
